Scratching cats like scratching Natural Scratch

Having what you consider to be--and what experience indicates is--a great solution to what can be a vexing problem turns you into a shameless promoter, so here goes.

Ever since I sawed some white cedar and pounded together a scratching post for Ursa Major and Star, our wonderful cats at the time, and applied straightforward operant conditioning techniques to the challenge, our scratching problems have been solved.

Currently our three cats claw Natural Scratch all but exclusively. Only one ever claws anything else, and he does so just to get attention, which is not good but which can be dealt with fairly easily.

Naturally we have several Natural Scratch posts in our home and all of them are pretty deeply gouged. I hope you'll find out more about Natural Scratch at naturalscratch.com and become a customer.
