Natural Scratch™ was born of my personal need for an effective cat scratching post. Click for more of its History. My family and I have had cats and dogs since I was born, and I remember every one affectionately.
Primary goal of Natural Scratch™ is preserving cat claws. They are marvels and cats need them to spear olives out of their martinis, among other uses. This is a cat-comes-first enterprise. After feline satisfaction, buyer happiness is paramount. All Natural Scratch™ cat scratching posts are guaranteed.
Natural Scratch™ cat scratching posts are made from cedar and cork by skilled woodworkers at a shop in Northern Wisconsin; the owner and his family have cats, too, and take pride in their work. (The small company also makes other wood products.) My office is in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Many artists have pictured cats or written about them. Attached is unmistakably Picassso.
Also known as Curly and Pinky, Sunflower likes to be close. Here she is on the far side of my monitor.
Sisters Venus left and Sunflower have been together all their lives and seem to like crossing their tails during meals.
Bob Dylan likes cats and dogs evidently which makes sense. The guitar he's playing is Martin's highest-level six-string, the D45.
Our cat Sunflower is a talker and also has the most expressive tail of any cat I've lived with. It curls enough that we expect one day we'll see it in a knot. This is her sitting on the edge of my desk.
Sunflower aka Curly and Pinky caught in a beam on the floor catching some rays. The image is as much a testimony to her beauty and exquisite eyes, irises at their narrowest, as it is a demonstration of the iPhone's spectacular built-in camera. It combines stunning...
Recently I discovered a great painting titled *Blue Cat* by Henri Hatisse so decided to see if Keith Haring was a cat guy, too, and he was. Cat lovers know the pose.

Just in from a customer: "This is J. A. [Issaquah, WA] and I recently purchased one of your posts. I have two cats, brothers, both scratch up my house. Baxter has taken to the post, he loves it so much, he sleeps on it. And he won’t let his brother Harley use it. He...
"My cat took to the posts right away! So much better than the rope posts which she would shred within a couple months." R.C., Waterford, WI
"It is perfection! They love it and I love it!”
"This is replacing an old (about 7 years) cork scratcher from you which my cats love and have worn down to a stump. When I pulled the new one out my cat was watching me and I literally saw his eyes get big! He is excited!"
"This is the BEST scratching post on the market; I'm purchasing the second one as a gift for a friend...she just adopted a cat from our local ASPCA. The first Natural Scratch is still going strong...the cats haven't touched the furniture since it arrived. On a side note...you may wish to charge MORE for the Natural Scratch (they last forever)."
